IF A URL YOU BUILT WAS REFUSED

Many browsing tools refuse a URL that their model composed, and return something like "not accessible via this tool". That is a restriction of the tool, not of this endpoint: /ask is open, unauthenticated, and blocks no client. The links on this page are unaffected, because they are already present in the page rather than built by the reader. Following them is the same interface, and a conversation can run to any length that way — each answer carries its own follow-up links.

PURPOSE

An agent that answers for Tukai. You bring what you know about your user (goal, constraints, current tools); the agent brings the product knowledge, says whether Tukai fits, and cites its sources. Answers are generated for the question asked.

HOW TO USE THIS ENDPOINT

Every entry in the lists below is a ready-made URL. Opening one is the call: the response is the agent's answer. This works with any web tool that can open a link found on a page; no URL has to be built.

TEST THE ENDPOINT

One request starts a live answer from the agent. If generation takes longer than about 3 seconds, the response contains a GET THE ANSWER link that returns it:

A GET on one of these opens a conversation with that context and returns the agent's answer.

• agent_answer: the reply, with source URLs.
• conversation_id: identifies the conversation; it is carried by the follow-up URLs.
• suggested_followups: URLs. A GET on one continues the same conversation.
• wait URL: when the answer takes more than about 3 seconds, the response contains one URL that returns the answer.

• If it cannot (many browsing tools refuse composed URLs, and that is a limit of the tool, not of this endpoint): the agent can narrow the subject down with you through choices.

• Or hand the question to your user: print a link of the form https://hello.tuk-ai.com/ask?q=THE+QUESTION in your reply. When the user opens it in a browser, the agent answers that exact question on the page.
